July Opening Hours Mon - Fri: 9am - 5pm The health and safety of our patients, staff and the greater community has always been of the utmost importance for us. We are open for all routine eye care, repairs and adjustments by appointment. Please ensure you make an appointment before attending the practice. We have implemented increased distancing between staff and patients, longer appointments to minimise overlap and allow for cleaning, Perspex shields for our testing equipment and stringent cleaning protocols in line with advice from NSW Health. Our Optometrist will wear a masks during your consultation. If you have noticed any change to your vision, lost or broken your glasses, we will be here to support you. If you have chronic eye conditions such as cataract, glaucoma or macular degeneration, we will continue to work alongside your ophthalmologist and GP to continue your care, and can provide secure Telehealth services to assist those who wish to stay home. For patients undergoing regular injections with their ophthalmologists, it is very important that you continue with these. If you have any concerns over the continuation of your treatment please speak with your ophthalmologist before delaying your treatment. If you have received a medical form for your drivers licence, as of the 24th of March, Transport for NSW have announced that these can be deferred for up to 12 months for low risk drivers. We are committed to providing ongoing eye care throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic and will provide regular updates here and on our Facebook page. Stephanie and James

You may have noticed a few changes over the last few months as we revitalise the practice you have come to know. We are super excited to launch our new logo for Bayside Optical! Having spent way too long studying about eyes, we had to recruit the pros at ProVision to help us out. Our design brief was "Something fun, quirky, anything but corporate and embraces some mid-century design vibes". Here it is! Keep an eye out on your way past as we install our new signage.
